On-site construction typically takes about 10 days once the site is ready. The full project schedule also depends on scheduling, site access, weather, and any permits or approvals required for your property.
The standard configuration includes a foundation, 2×4 framed structure, insulation, internal wiring with 2 outlets and 2 interior plus 2 exterior lights, a rear power inlet, LVP flooring, windows, French door, board & batten siding, and exterior paint. Connection to your home’s electrical supply is not included. Foundation type, site conditions, and options affect the final price; we review these at the free on-site estimate.
Our standard studios are marketed as accessory work and recreation spaces, not as rental dwelling units. Do not assume an accessory studio may be rented or used as an Airbnb. Ask your local building and planning departments what is allowed for your property before planning any residential or rental use.
We offer pier-and-beam foundations (preferred for speed and minimal site disruption) or poured concrete slabs, depending on your lot conditions. We assess your site during the consultation and specify the right solution.
Absolutely. Interior customization — built-in shelving, partition walls, and finish upgrades — is available as an add-on. Use our configurator to pick your shell, then tell us your interior vision during the consultation.
We currently serve greater Los Angeles including Pasadena, Burbank, Glendale, Santa Monica, Culver City, Long Beach, and surrounding communities within ~50 miles. Contact us to check your specific address.
We provide a 10-year structural warranty, 5-year weathertight warranty on the roof and envelope, and 1-year warranty on all installed equipment. All warranties are backed by Olhona LLC.
